A TV Program Scheduler’s primary responsibility is to create schedules with 100% accuracy and in a timely manner, while ensuring all stations are optimized and reviewed daily. Ability to think “outside the box” is a must.

What you will do:

  • Create schedules, send to internal teams, maximize revenue, and share results.
  • Utilize platform and competitor monitoring tools to derive insight to drive optimization.
  • · Monitor station and program performance daily and actively participate in team conversations regarding those results.
  • Use internal systems to optimize, review and schedule stations.  Find new ways to use current reports, build new reports and share findings with the team.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maximize efficiencies and build strong working relationships
  • Complete research and other ad hoc projects assigned by your manager.
  • Minimum two years professional experience working in a position requiring analysis and strong organization skills or a BS undergraduate degree.

Role Overview:
As a Media Associate serving the Short Form department, the primary responsibility is to process all Short Form and Radio station logs.  The Media Associate will actively strive to ensure all media clearance is provided to the media system correctly, and as efficiently as possible, for multiple business units.  The Media Associate will work to develop a greater understanding of all aspects of Cannella Media’s business and work together with other departments to achieve company goals.

Specific duties of the Media Associate are:

  • Complete all log entry tasks for Short Form, Mid Form, and Radio – manage email correspondence, process all log attachments with timeliness, verify accuracy consistently, send notifications to internal teams as needed.
  • Construct working knowledge of CORE (Short Form media system) for accuracy verification and overall perspective.
  • Refer to and maintain station – log contacts in CORE.
  • Build advanced knowledge of PremiumMedia360 (Log Importing Tool) for log processing.
  • Troubleshoot inaccuracies with the data and report system errors accordingly.
  • Distribute detailed clearance discrepancies to the media team promptly.
  • Collaborate with direct reports on potential efficiencies of process and automation.
  • Work jointly with station partners on systematic needs and formats.
  • Monitor any high priority needs provided by the media team.
  • Display the abilities to manage individual tasks and apply Self-Motivation.
  • Provide keen attention to detail in repetitive, process driven tasks.

The Freelance Editor will assist with editing raw video content provided by creators for the purpose of social media posts. Product categories include beauty, fitness and weight loss, housewares, etc.

  • Edit raw video footage provided by creators in order to produce finished content for social media posts and/or ads.
  • Research competing brands within product category to have a pulse on trends and have a thorough understanding of what competitors are doing and what resonates with target audiences.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Focus:

This CONTRACT position is responsible for media buying and planning for Hispanic and general market clients. Our ideal candidate has min 3+ years of experience in US Hispanic Media Buying, is self-motivated, detail-oriented with budgets and works well in prioritizing and managing projects.

Job Responsibilities:
As a US Hispanic Media Buyer, you will:

  • Negotiate and purchase US Hispanic national, local and regional broadcast & cable TV media, and assist with associated media planning for various Cannella Media DTC clients
  • Leverage existing station relationships
  • Possess data driven negotiation skills
  • Design optimum buys in terms of cost efficiency, goals and vendor agreements.
  • Review market sponsorship opportunities and makes recommendations based on client needs.
  • Possess excellent analytical, reporting and operational skills specifically related to media buying
  • Provide regular reporting to the client inclusive of budgeting/forecasting, cost scenarios, and executed program details inclusive of quantity and cost.
  • Negotiate and maintain all agency rates as well as special placements.
  • Conduct post-buy media analysis and tracks and reports on results.
  • Work with/report to broadcast media, planning and finance managers
  • Resolve billing discrepancies with vendors and maintain billing adjustments.
  • Be responsible for reconciliation of invoices for specific advertising agency accounts

As a US Hispanic TV Media Buyer you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years or more of media buying experience within agency and/media buying environment
  • A drive, passion and innate curiosity of the advertising business, media and emerging trends
  • Great market and industry knowledge of media tools, best practices and market/vendor relationships
  • Strong communication, presentation skills
