Role Overview:

The Account Executive partnering with a team of Media Assistants and partners with Media Buyers to manage short and long form direct response television campaigns by serving as a liaison between clients, senior management, vendors, and production companies to ensure campaign success. The Account Executive works with SF Media Team, including Media Assistants and Media Buyers to manage short form direct response television campaigns by serving as a liaison between clients, senior management, vendors, and production companies to ensure campaign success. Long form media experience is a plus. Responsibilities include recommending spending levels, evaluating results and providing feedback and reports to clients while meeting deadlines by working efficiently with internal departments. Account Executives are expected to maintain long term relationships as well as identify new opportunities, drive negotiations, and coordinate solutions to meet client needs.

 

Specific duties of the Account Executive are:

 

Developed meaningful relationships with multiple clients through daily contact and delivery of a high standard of work.

 

Assist with Client Services to implement new show tests and roll out.

 

Work with Client Services and Media Buyers to ensure all client and CRT goals are being hit (Budget, Media Performance and Client Reporting).

 

Set up and manage client directive calls. Provide regular two-way communication between the client and team, communicate client goals, represent the team to the client and set proper client expectations while maintaining compliance on client deliverables and revenue.

 

Direct a team of media buyers in appropriate placement of clients’ media within client budgets ranging from $10k to $900k per client weekly

 

Contribute to weekly Media Buyers meeting for the campaigns and Media Buyers you manage.

 

Work with Media Buyers to cancel, add, rebook or title change media where needed.

 

Analyze results daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.

Short Form Media Assistant (Los Angeles)

Role Overview:

The Short Form Media Assistant will support the Client Service Team/Buyers with media time from television stations and cable networks while delivering on effectiveness. You will focus, develop and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, and partnership with the internal team to create value for the client and contribute to achieving client goals.

 

Specific duties of the Short Form Media Assistant include:

  • Assist in purchasing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual schedules on stations and networks on behalf of CRT’s clients assuring best placement and optimal use of budget.
  • Research demographics, evaluate results, review historical data, analyse trends and station information to modify media plans appropriately in a constantly changing environment.
  • Partner with the Client Services Team to understand client directives, goals and budget. Scrutinize performance results and make recommendations in order to meet client goals and work to secure added value for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts to assist in facilitating negotiations and buying needs while ensuring CRT is the first contact when new media opportunities arise.
  • Plan media schedules including titling media, placement, revisions and cancellations.
  • Work closely with the traffic department to ensure proper creative arrives at station(s) and correct traffic instructions are confirmed to meet buy expectations.
  • Assist team in securing affidavits and resolving discrepancies so the agency can meet commitments for media closure.
  • Complete required paperwork including weekly media reporting, monthly expense reports and logs / affidavits as needed. Assist in resolving airing or billing errors.
  • Aid in the implementation of new media tests for prospective clients or new shows.
  • Represent CRT to the media and client community while maintaining a level of professionalism consistent with CRT’s values.
  • Work independently and self-direct work while continuing to contribute to the team effort and coordinating with other departments to ensure campaign success.
